Volleyball Recap: Lakota Tech's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Lakota Tech lost against Hot Springs back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tatanka fell 2-0 to the Bison. The loss put an end to the Tatanka's undefeated start to the season.

Hot Springs found their leader in freshman Abby Simons, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Simons. Haylee White also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lakota Tech fell to 2-1. As for Hot Springs, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Lakota Tech and Hot Springs will both be playing Hill City the next time they take the court. The Bison will head out to face the Rangers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Tatanka will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
