Volleyball Recap: Pearl River Central Comes Up Short

Pearl River Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the George County Rebels. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5.

Pearl River Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for George County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Pearl River Central will square off against Picayune at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd.
