Game recap: Bishop Feehan High School Football Team wins against Martha's Vineyard Regional

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Isaiah Douglas ran for two touchdowns and Matthew Allen added two as well as Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, Mass.) bested Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) 47-6 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Douglas in the first quarter, the Shamrocks led 27-0 at the half.

Bishop Feehan expanded its lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. BF scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Allen.

The Attleboro school's standout player in the win was Allen. He kicked five extra points.



The Vineyarders' Jacob Cardoza played well. The freshman running back caught one touchdown.

Martha's Vineyard Regional's lone touchdown came on a 2-yard pass from Mike Mussell to Cardoza in the fourth quarter.

The Shamrocks went into the matchup giving up only 6.7 points per game. The six points that MVR ended with were well below its average of 21.3 coming into the game.

When the two teams played each other last season, Bishop Feehan came away with a 35-0 victory.

With the win BF extended its winning streak to four games.

Bishop Feehan (5-2) will play a non-conference game against Durfee next week, while Martha's Vineyard Regional (4-4) will take on Bishop Stang in a Eastern game.
