Preview: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Carver Panthers
The Chamblee Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Carver Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Chamblee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 484 points over their last seven matchups.
Even though Towers scored an imposing 72 points on Saturday, Chamblee still came out on top. Chamblee walked away with a 80-72 victory over Towers.
Chamblee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Starr, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Starr hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Simeon Stephens was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Carver's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 44-34 to Lithonia.
Chamblee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Carver, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
