Softball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 12-9 to the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-9 last Tuesday.

Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they have already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Bullis on the 10th.
