Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calhoun County). They claimed a resounding 95-47 win over the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-19.

Blackville-Hilda's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Kinard, who posted ten points.

The victory made it two in a row for Calhoun County and bumps their season record up to 5-5. As for Blackville-Hilda, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Calhoun County will face off against Wagener-Salley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blackville-Hilda, they will square off against Williston-Elko at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
