Having struggled with four losses in a row, Ben Lomond turned things around against Logan on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grizzlies, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Scots have posted since May 8, 2025.

Ben Lomond was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-27, 25-22, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Carbon came up short against North Sanpete on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Dinos have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Carbon was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-15.

Ben Lomond's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Carbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
