Baseball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Centennial brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against the Smyrna Bulldogs on Friday by a score of 14-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Smyrna, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Centennial will head out to take on Summit at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Smyrna, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Warren County on the 21st.
