Flag Football Recap: Overland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Overland was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 53-7 loss at the hands of the Cherry Creek Bruins. The contest marked the Trailblazers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Addy Beck, who threw for 190 yards and four TDs while completing 88.2% of her passes, and also punched in one score on the ground for Cherry Creek. The dominant performance also gave Beck a new career-high in passer rating (161.8). Natalia Baal was another key player, gaining 62 total yards and two touchdowns.

Overland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Cherry Creek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Overland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-13 loss against Arapahoe on the 26th. As for Cherry Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 40-7 victory against Eaglecrest on the 25th.
