Football Recap: Durand Comes Up Short

Durand made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ovid-Elsie, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Railroaders fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Marauders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Durand's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ovid-Elsie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Durand will take on rival Lakeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ovid-Elsie is set to face off against their familiar foe Montrose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
