Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Valley). They walked away with an 81-68 victory over the West Florence Knights on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Spring Valley's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for West Florence, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will venture away from home to take on Ridge View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridge View will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Spring Valley surely won't give up without a fight. West Florence has already played their next match (against Sumter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
