Baseball Recap: Penn Yan Academy Comes Up Short

Penn Yan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Geneva Panthers, falling 13-3. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Penn Yan Academy's record now sits at 0-3. As for Geneva, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

While Penn Yan Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
