Baseball Recap: Columbus Torah Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Foxfire on April 8th, Columbus Torah Academy came back down to earth. The Lions lost 9-1 to the Briggs Bruins on Wednesday.

David Buren made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run.

Columbus Torah Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Briggs, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Columbus Torah Academy will take on Hillel Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. The Lions are facing the Heat at the right time seeing as the Heat are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Briggs, they will face off against Columbus International at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
