Softball Recap: Highland Fighting Scots vs. Pleasant Spartans

Highland had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Pleasant on Friday. The Fighting Scots blew past the Spartans 16-3. The Fighting Scots not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 21-6).

Lydia Shaffer made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
