Notre Dame Academy is 7-1 against St. Henry since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Pandas will venture away from home to challenge the Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. Notre Dame Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

On Wednesday, Notre Dame Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Campbell County, taking the game 4-1.

Meanwhile, St. Henry made easy work of Newport on Wednesday and carried off a 23-4 win. That 19 run margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

Notre Dame Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Henry, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2.

Notre Dame Academy took their win against St. Henry when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pandas since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
