Softball Recap: Fort Hill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Smithsburg on Thursday, Fort Hill came back down to earth. The Sentinels came up short against the Saint James Saints on Friday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Wednesday.

Fort Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Saint James, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Fort Hill will challenge Mountain Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Saint James, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-6 victory against Westminster on the 3rd.
