Softball Preview: Landstown Eagles vs. Salem Sundevils
Landstown is 8-2 against Salem since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Sundevils at 5:00 p.m. Landstown will be strutting in after a victory while Salem will be coming in after a defeat.
Landstown will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Tallwood, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles walked away with an 8-3 win over the Lions on Thursday.
Hailey Akers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Adalyn Stumler was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Aleigh Earp also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Landstown, their record is now 5-10.
