Basketball Recap: Amelia Robinson Key Part of a Team Effort in Yellowjackets Win

Llano hadn't done well against Brady recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Llano Yellowjackets strolled past the Brady Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 34-15. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 34-33 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Llano to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amelia Robinson, who posted 12 points. Hailey Lucas was another key player, putting up eight points.

With the victory, Llano broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11. As for Brady, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Llano didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 35-29 win against Ingram Moore on the 7th. Brady has also already played their next contest, a 54-17 victory against Florence on the 7th.
