Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jimtown walked away with it. They blew past the LaVille Lancers 63-42 on Tuesday. The Jimmies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Branden King continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 6-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double with 31 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Will Spurgeon was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Despite the defeat, LaVille had strong showings from Collin Czarnecki, who went 8-for-20 to rack up 19 points and seven rebounds, and Lance Edison, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. That was a full 45.2% of LaVille's points, marking the tenth time in a row Czarnecki has posted more than a third of the team's points.

The victory (which was Jimtown's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-10. As for LaVille, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Jimtown will square off against Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jimtown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season. LaVille does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
