Soccer Game Preview: Ellison vs. Southwest

The Ellison Eagles will square off against the Southwest Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ellison's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Ellison duked it out with Hendrickson on Saturday. 2026 welcomed the Eagles with a 7-0 loss courtesy of the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Southwest kept a clean sheet against Burleson on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elks, sneaking past 1-0.

Southwest's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Ellison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
