Soccer Recap: Smyrna Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Smyrna lost to Wilson Central back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Smyrna's defense stepped up to hand Wilson Central a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Smyrna have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Joel Garcia, which was the first he's scored this season.

Smyrna pushed their record up to 4-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wilson Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smyrna will face off against Stewarts Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stewarts Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Smyrna surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilson Central, they will welcome Mount Juliet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
