Soccer Recap: Benson Takes a Loss

Benson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Pima Roughriders, falling 6-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Benson's goal came courtesy of Kendall Miles, who's now up to eight this season.

Benson now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Pima, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Benson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against St. Augustine Catholic on the 2nd. As for Pima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Willcox on the 1st.
