Basketball Game Preview: Elcho Hornets vs. Crandon Cardinals

The Elcho Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Crandon Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Elcho had to suffer through a 71-24 loss at the hands of Tomahawk.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Crandon duked it out withEdgar on Monday. Crandon took a 73-58 bruising from Edgar. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Elcho won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February, slipping by Crandon 70-69. Does Elcho have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crandon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
