Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If St. Andrew was feeling good fresh off their 77-46 takedown of South Effingham on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions took a hard 68-50 fall against the Bradwell Institute Tigers on Friday. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Bradwell Institute got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Christopher Perry out in front who shot 67% from the field on his way to 22 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Perry has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Elijuwon Hale was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Andrew's fell to 2-1. As for Bradwell Institute, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

St. Andrew's will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Bradwell Institute, they have already played their next contest, a 67-40 win against Liberty County on the 22nd.
