Volleyball Recap: Armuchee Indians vs. Model Blue Devils
Armuchee lost against Model back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. While the Indians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 25-12 in the first set.
Armuchee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-17, 15-8.

Despite the defeat, Armuchee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Grace Crump had eight digs and two aces. Crump is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 26 games she's played.
Model was led to victory by Maralea Davis and AnnElise Mitchell. Davis had 11 digs and three assists, while Mitchell had eight assists. That's the most digs Davis has posted since back in August.
Armuchee has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-13 record this season. As for Model, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 27-6.
