It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lakeland had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Colonial Heights Colonials by a score of 70-61. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 73-71 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Colonial Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cameron Hartsoe, who to rack up 26 points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cartier Coleman, who en route to 20 points and six rebounds.

Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Colonial Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.
