Sunlake dropped their record down to 14-7 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Osceola Warriors, falling 12-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Seahawks, who until this match were averaging 3.71 runs allowed.

Lilly Lyons was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Ava Rapp also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

As for Osceola, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 13 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

On Osceola's side, Aliyah Lai spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on seven hits. Lai has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Osceola got a massive performance out of Bri Shephard, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Angelina Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Sunlake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Sickles on the 16th. As for Osceola, they have also already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Land O' Lakes on the 17th.
