Community Christian can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They took down the Lighthouse HomeSchool Lions 37-23. Community Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Community Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makayla Nguyen, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Mylee Wright was another key player, putting up nine points along with six steals and five boards.

Community Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Lighthouse HomeSchool, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Community Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-30 loss against Faith Christian on the 14th. As for Lighthouse HomeSchool, they will challenge Bob Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
