Lake Zurich never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees, posting a 31-0 victory. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Zee-Bees are ranked 218th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Lake Zurich's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.4 points over those games. As for Zion-Benton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
