Volleyball Recap: Nucla Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Nucla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mancos Bluejays. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bluejays when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Nucla's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Mancos, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Nucla and Ouray will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mancos, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dove Creek on the 23rd.
