Softball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-11 to the Shadow Mountain Matadors. Even if the Dons couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Shadow Mountain, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coronado and Shadow Mountain will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Coronado is set to face off against their familiar foe Cortez at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shadow Mountain will square off against rival Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
