Volleyball Recap: Central Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

The Central Lions were able to grind out a solid win over the West Forsyth Wolverines on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Macey Mount paced Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mount got some help from Abby Kreft and her 13 assists. Mount was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for West Forsyth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Jackson County on the 23rd. As for West Forsyth, they will head out on the road to challenge East Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
