Baseball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Germantown finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 14-2 to the Arlington Tigers. The Red Devils have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Germantown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnathan Rudd, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Rudd has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

Germantown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
