Xavier Prep extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Arianna Padilla. Everything went the Saints' way against the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Padilla, who had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

One reason for the win was Xavier Prep's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-4.

Xavier Prep's win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Desert Christian Academy, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Xavier Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against La Quinta on the 13th. As for Desert Christian Academy, they will take on Temecula Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
