Basketball Recap: Loganville Comes Up Short

Loganville suffered their biggest defeat since January 6, 2024 on Friday. 2025 welcomed they with a 69-43 loss courtesy of the Habersham Central Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Raiders are ranked 31st).

Loganville's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for Habersham Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loganville will face off against Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Habersham Central, they will take on Apalachee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
