Basketball Recap: Oelwein Takes a Loss

Oelwein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-58 heartbreaker at the hands of North Fayette Valley. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Fayette Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Oelwein's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for North Fayette Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Oelwein has already played their next contest (against North Fayette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Fayette Valley has already played their next match, a 43-31 win against West Central on the 21st.
