Softball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Fairview's offense. They came up short against the Blazer Tomcats on Monday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tomcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 on Monday.

Fairview has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Blazer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will face off against Elliott County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Blazer, they will head out to challenge Johnson Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
