After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lewis-Palmer, Palmer Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Discovery Canyon Thunder 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.

Leading Palmer Ridge to victory were Henley Kay and Ella Roque. Kay had 24 digs and two aces, while Roque had 13 digs. The dominant performance also gave Kay a new career-high in assists (four).
