Basketball Game Preview: Valor Christian Eagles vs. Legend Titans

The Valor Christian Eagles will take on the Legend Titans at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Valor Christian sitting on 19 straight wins and Legend on three.

Quinn VanSickle was her usual excellent self, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 31 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in March of 2024. Kate Fuessel was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 13 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Legend faced Regis Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Legend came out on top against Regis Jesuit by a score of 47-38.

Valor Christian pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.1 points. As for Legend, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.

Everything came up roses for Valor Christian against Legend in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 69-42 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Legend's Mason Borcherding, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards.
