Canutillo won the last time they faced El Paso and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Tigers. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.

Alina Banda was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Banda was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Canutillo got a massive performance out of Alyssa Bliss, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Bliss has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Katelynn Quezada, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Canutillo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Paso only posted an OBP of .353.

Canutillo's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.3 runs. As for El Paso, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-20.

As of now, neither Canutillo nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
