Williams Field lost to Desert Mountain back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Williams Field Black Hawks were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Desert Mountain Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Black Hawks, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jaxin Hernandez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. TJ Shaker was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases.

Williams Field hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Mountain struck out eight times.

The win made it two in a row for Williams Field and bumps their season record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. As for Desert Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Williams Field will head out to challenge Perry at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Perry will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Williams Field surely won't give up without a fight. As for Desert Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-8 win against Skyline on the 13th.
