Soccer Recap: Parsons Comes Up Short

Parsons fought the good fight in their overtime match against Paola on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. Parsons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Paola with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Manners (2), Keigan Morrow, and Mario Zacarias.

Parsons' loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Paola, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Parsons will be playing at home against Independence at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paola has already played their next contest (against Spring Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
