Basketball Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

Humboldt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Johnson/Washington Tech Governors and fell 61-14. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Governors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2015.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Johnson/Washington Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Humboldt has already played their next game (against Columbia Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Johnson/Washington Tech will welcome Highland Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Johnson/Washington Tech is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
