Basketball Game Preview: Henryetta Knights vs. Kellyville Ponies

The Henryetta Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Kellyville Ponies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Henryetta is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Eufaula just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Ironheads 45-40. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kellyville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Preston.

Kellyville's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Henryetta, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Henryetta beat Kellyville 65-56 in their previous matchup on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Henryetta since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
