Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covington). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 75-18 win over the South Vermillion Wildcats. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Covington's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for South Vermillion, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covington will be taking part in a tournament against Fountain Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Vermillion, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the South Vermillion Wildcats face off against the Marshall Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
