Basketball Recap: Leah Rubio and Kyra Beilke Secure Win for Arrowhead Christian Academy

Arrowhead Christian Academy won the last time they faced Paradise Valley Christian Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Arrowhead Christian Academy Eagles managed a 35-31 victory over the Paradise Valley Christian Prep Panthers.

Leading Arrowhead Christian Academy to victory were Kyra Beilke and Leah Rubio. Beilke went 7 of 12 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds, while Rubio posted ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those 15 points gave Beilke a new career-high.

Arrowhead Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Paradise Valley Christian Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Arrowhead Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Thunderbird Adventist Academy at 5:20 p.m. on Monday. Arrowhead Christian Academy is facing Thunderbird Adventist Academy at the right time seeing as Thunderbird Adventist Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Paradise Valley Christian Prep and Arrowhead Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
