Basketball Game Preview: Bear Creek Grizzlies vs. Bush Blazers

Bear Creek is 8-2 against Bush since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bear Creek Grizzlies will look to defend their home court against the Bush Blazers at 7:00 p.m. Bear Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.9 points per game this season.

Bear Creek is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering King's just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Grizzlies have suffered since January 16, 2024.

Bear Creek might have lost, but man, Max Beiber was a machine: he posted 29 points. The contest was Beiber's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Andrew Liu was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bush, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They strolled past Overlake with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-48.

Bush's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Bear Creek, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.

Bear Creek beat Bush 56-45 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Bear Creek repeat their success, or does Bush have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
