Drew is still undefeated this season after their game against North Clayton on Thursday, but North Clayton came as close as anyone has to beating them. Drew sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over North Clayton. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Drew has posted since January 24th.

Drew's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ricky Moon, who went 8-for-18 en route to 21 points. Moon is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was John Fair, who posted four points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Despite the loss, North Clayton still got an impressive performance from Jaquavius Cox, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 22 boards. Carnell Kelly was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Drew's record is now 4-0. As for North Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Drew and North Clayton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Drew sees the court they'll take on Mays at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for North Clayton, their break will end when they face Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
