Softball Recap: Andrean Fighting 59ers vs. Highland Trojans

Andrean scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Highland Trojans as the Andrean Fighting 59ers made off with a 17-6 win. Winning may never get old, but Andrean sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Sadie Drousias was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Drousias was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Maggie Voliva was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Gracie Wardingley was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs.

On Highland's side, Hailey Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Olivia Thomas, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
