Jewell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after falling to Perrydale. The Bluejays came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
The Pirates took down Jewell 62-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jewell's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bluejays feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Deponte has thrown for 280 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Lucas Thompson has three catches for 82 yards. Deponte also leads the league in rushing with 598 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Portland Lutheran takes on St. Paul. The Bluejays are currently in fifth, while the Buckaroos are in first.
Perrydale led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Mark Freeman's team.
